Samindra Abeysekera – Chairman
Samindra Abeysekera commenced his career at Sampath Bank, subsequently joining the Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka, where he played a pivotal role in driving financial and operational advancements until 2000. He then joined the apparel industry and over the course of a 20-year career , he became a consultant in productivity and systems development, holding leadership roles at renowned companies such as Textured Jersey Lanka, MAS Active Shadeline, Sumithra Group of Companies, and Ebony Holdings. Additionally, he briefly served as the Managing Director of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd.
He holds an MBA from the University of West London (UK), a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) with Honors from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and is an Associate Member of CIMA UK. Furthermore, he possesses a certificate from the Institute of Personnel Management of Sri Lanka.
Razik Mohamed – Director
Razik Mohamed is a senior Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience in the finance sector. Previously a Non-Executive Director at Citizens Development Business Finance PLC, he currently serves as a Director of Asia Management Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, ECC’s parent company. Throughout his career, Razik has held significant finance positions, including Project Accountant, Chief Accountant, and Group Finance Director, at various leading international firms. He is also a Trustee of the Gratuity Trust Funds of Ceylinco Life Insurance Ltd and Ceylinco Insurance PLC.
Parinda Jayasuriya – Director
Parinda Jayasuriya joined Ceylinco Insurance PLC in 1990, serving as Senior Accountant until 1998. He then transitioned to Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, where he held the role of Deputy General Manager in Group Finance for 20 years, before retiring in 2020. Currently, he is a Director at Asia Management Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd and Aseki Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, an Associate Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Sanjeewa Ranasinghe – Director
Sanjeewa Ranasinghe brings extensive expertise in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Health & Safety, and HR policy formulation. Presently, he is the Head of HR at Ceylon Steel Corporation, overseeing HR operations at Ferrentino Tires and Lanwa Sanstha Cement. His career spans diverse sectors, including manufacturing, aviation, logistics, and hospitality.
Sanjeewa holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and an MBA in Human Resources from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka.
Sachith Wijebandara - CEO
Sachith Wijebandara was appointed CEO of Enterprise Ceylon Capital (ECC) on December 1, 2023, bringing extensive experience and expertise to the firm.
With over 17 years in the stock broking industry, he has been a licensed Investment Advisor since 2008, specializing in corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth clients. His strategic insights and industry acumen have facilitated the management of share portfolios collectively exceeding LKR 1 billion.
Sachith holds an MBA from the University of Sunderland and a Postgraduate Diploma from Cardiff Metropolitan University. His academic qualifications, coupled with his professional experience, position him as a dynamic leader, guiding ECC toward sustained growth and success.
